These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Boost Buddy Canada/Boost Buddy Inc. (www.boostbuddy.ca referred to as “Site” ) platform and services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our platform or services.

2. Service Description

Boost Buddy Canada acts as an intermediary platform connecting customers seeking vehicle battery boost assistance ("Customers") with local drivers willing to provide such assistance ("Drivers"). Boost Buddy Canada does not directly provide battery boost services; it simply facilitates the connection between Customers and Drivers.

3. Service Availability and Time of Arrival

All estimated time of arrival for Drivers is based on their availability and is subject to change. While we strive to provide accurate estimations, Boost Buddy Canada cannot guarantee precise arrival times due to various factors affecting driver availability and traffic conditions.

4. Extreme Cold Weather

In cases where a customer's vehicle fails to start due to extreme cold weather conditions, such as temperatures reaching -35 degrees Celsius, Boost Buddy Canada cannot guarantee a 100 percent success rate for battery boosts. Factors beyond our control, such as the condition of the vehicle's battery, may affect the success of the service.

5. Refunds & Cancellations

Boost Buddy Canada does not provide refunds based on the performance of the customer's vehicle. Customers are paying for the Driver's convenience of arrival at the requested location to provide a battery boost service. You may cancel your boost service at anytime, **please note: Boost Buddy Canada charges a $6.00 fee for Stripe transaction services, administrative cost, and driver time. Our service fee covers the facilitation of the connection between Customers and Drivers.

6. Limitations of Drivers

Drivers connected through Boost Buddy Canada are not professional car mechanics and cannot diagnose vehicle issues or provide technical advice beyond the scope of a basic battery boost. Customers should seek professional assistance for complex vehicle problems.

7. Liability

Boost Buddy Canada will not be held liable for any damages, losses, injuries, or disputes that may arise during service interactions between Customers and Drivers. Any agreements, arrangements, or disputes between Customers and Drivers are their sole responsibility.

8. Driver Requirements

All Drivers engaged through Boost Buddy Canada must possess a valid driver's license and maintain proper insurance coverage as required by the province in which they operate their motor vehicle. Boost Buddy Canada is not responsible for verifying the accuracy or validity of the Driver's credentials.

9. Modifications to Terms

Boost Buddy Canada reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for any changes. Continued use of our platform and services after modifications constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms.
